Best practices for application development/testing/deployment/support. Key Responsibilities may include: Core responsibilities include the following but will vary depending on the assigned project/role:    Evaluating and configuring HW (Dell, SUN, etc.) environments Installing and configuring platforms (MPEG-4, Flash Streaming Server, Windows Media 2008, Real Media, etc.) Requirements Gathering Design/Development/Programming Testing (planning, preparation, execution) Application Development Portal Development Qualifications Basic Qualifications:  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technical degrees Minimum 1 year experience with evaluating and configuring HW (Dell, SUN, etc.) environments Minimum 1 year experience with Windows and Linux administration Experience in configuration management Preferred Qualifications:  Foundry and F5 experience BGP / Routing experience Middleware: Websphere Databases: DB2, Oracle, Teradata COTS: SAP Computing Environments: MVS, Unix, Client Server, J2EE Test Director/Quality Center Performance Testing Tools Professional Skill Requirements:  Proven ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment. Must display professionalism and confidence. Excellent customer service skills. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
