The Cost Accountant will work with BearingPoint and client team members to develop and implement solutions to client challenges. Specific responsibilities include: Perform cost accounting system reviews of an existing cost accounting structure, present recommendations to senior government officials, and implement strategies to improve an agencys managerial accounting processes. Interpret financial management regulations, policies and practices to provide guidance and expertise to senior government officials.
