Credit Analyst

Responsible for evaluating and decisioning credit card applications while protecting the asset quality and profitability of U.S. Bank  Verifies, processes and documents information related to all aspects of standard and non standard credit card documentation and applications to ensure completeness and accuracy.  Promotes a favorable image of the company through positive interactions with customers and bankers in a timely, professional and courteous manner  Solves problems, educates customers and bankers, explains decline reasons, counsels customers on possible solutions, performs routine credit analysis, evaluates financial and relationship data to make a risk based decision related to the credit application.  Maintains a working knowledge of underwriting guidelines, operational systems and process, regulatory or policy changes and industry changes.   The schedule for this position is:   Tuesday-Friday, 10:30AM-7:00 PM and Saturdays, 8:30-5:00 PM   or   Sundays, 8:30AM-5:00PM, Monday-Thursday, 10:30AM-7:00 PMApply today…it could be your first step to a Five Star Career!Basic Qualifications - The equivalent to the completion of a college degree or equitable work experience.- Two to three years of experience in credit analysis and/or lending activities. Preferred Skills/Experience - Well-developed credit analysis and analytical skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, organizational, and time management skills.- Ability to analyze and interpret data, proof/verify own work, calculate percentages and ratios by following preset formulas.- Ability to multitask, solve problems and offer solutions and work well in a fast paced environment with a variety of personalities. - The ability to work well independently and in a team environment with limited direction.   Email this Job to a Friend View all opportunities Job TItle: Credit Analyst Location: Fargo, ND 58102 Job Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Banking/Real Estate/Mortgage Professionals Career Level: Entry Level
