Credit & Collections Specialist Summary

Our client, a Fortune 500 global outsourcing company, is looking to add a key consultant to their team located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Credit & Collections Specialist ResponsibilitiesMeet monthly collections goals.Serve as liaison and review service for clients.Direct cash application through remittance advice and statements as required.Attend client meetings to discuss ideas, address concerns, and performance of defaulter’s debt.Perform Data Entry in MS Excel.Maintain report logs and assist in the preparation of reports for management to correspond with the client’s and organization’s requirements.Ability to escalate issues in agreement with the escalation policy.

 

 

Essential Credit & Collections Specialist Skills & Characteristics Must be bilingual in Spanish and EnglishExcellent communication and writing skillsAbility to work overtime if requiredMust have 2-4 years of credit and collections experienceExperience in accounts receivable, collections and call centerKnowledge of processing credit card paymentsAbility to work within a team and posses excellent attention to detailMust be proficient with MS Word and Excel
