Customer Quality Call Representative

Summary: The Customer Quality Call Representative is a licensed insurance agent whose primary responsibility is to conduct outbound verification calls to new enrollees for educational and quality assurance purposes.Duties and Responsibilities:

1.  Make outbound calls to new enrollees to make sure that they understand how a Private Fee For Service Plan works and to educate the enrollees on the plan’s benefits.

2.  Take inbound calls from new enrollees who have received a letter from us requesting contact to ensure their understanding of the plan’s characteristics. 

3.  Answer all questions regarding the plan’s benefits, cost sharing, and provider acceptance. 

4.  Conserve enrollee by taking applications for other products as necessary.

5.  Generate letters to beneficiaries who could not be contacted by phone.

6.  Other related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·  Capable of working and communicating with many people possessing diverse personalities

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including oral presentation

·  Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail

·  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products

·  Understanding of the customer service process

·  Understanding of the various insurance policies

·  Able to work independently and in a team setting

 

Education and Experience:

·  Ability to obtain Washington Life and Health insurance license within 30 days from date of hire

·  1 to 2 years college in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.  Equivalent related experience may substitute for education requirements.

·  Minimum six months experience in Customer Service, Insurance Billing, Sales, or call center environment Desired:

·  Experience in, or understanding of, hospitals, healthcare and/or insurance industry

·  Proven sales experience or related position within insurance field

·  Knowledge of managed care and insurance products

·  Understanding of D.O.I. rules and regulations

·  Bilingual skills

 

Essential Functions:

·  Manual dexterity in hands to do extensive keyboarding

·  Requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time
