Customer Service, Credit Collections, Accounts Receivable

We have an exciting opportunity available for an individual interested in learning a different side of the collections function which involves providing direct support to our Customer Service Centers (CSCs) by processing payments for all doubtful customers, coordinating with our third-party collection agencies, and by negotiating settlements. We are seeking analytical candidates with strong negotiation skills to join this fast-paced and dynamic team.

Responsibilities Include:

·  Evaluating disputes with agencies by working with CSC staff and reviewing documentation to determine the validity of disputed charges.

·  Applying payments and notifying agencies regarding direct payments.

·  Using sound judgment and departmental best-practice guidelines in response to CSC inquiries and problems, and to assist CSCs with doubtful/undoubtful procedures.

·  Evaluating companies' credit eligibility through Dun and Bradstreet.

·  Handling collections for National Accounts.

·  Preparing month-end reports showing collection activity of individual agencies and in-house collections.

·  Preparing all departmental journal entries and department check requests for customer refunds. 

Qualifications Required:

·  HS Diploma or equivalent.

·  Well organized with excellent Customer Service skills.

·  Superb written and interpersonal communication skills.

·  Strong computer skills and the ability to learn our various software systems.

·  Good with numbers and highly detail oriented.

·  Bankruptcy experience.
