We are a SEC public filing company operating in the service industry with offices located throughout the United States. We are looking to hire a Director of Leadership & Sales Professional Development to work out of our corporate office located in suburban Philadelphia.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Director of Leadership & Sales Professional Development will provide strategic and tactical direction in all areas of leadership learning and sales force development for this National Company. This position will have primary responsibility for providing leadership development training and assessments to all levels of employees with particular emphasis on front-line leaders, supervisors, and business development representatives. Incumbent works with business units, senior management, and regional, divisional and corporate university teams to create, design and execute learning and development programs to meet the company's business goals. This position encompasses 60% platform/classroom training and 40% curriculum development, data compilation and consulting with the clients. It will require 40% travel.

MAJOR DUTIES:
- Design, deliver and facilitate leadership and sales development training for all levels of employees
- Provide recommendations of training programs based on current staff performance and observed behaviors
- Plan and conduct evaluation of training results and effectiveness with action plans to address areas of opportunity
- Attend management meetings to learn their needs, develop customized programs and gain support  region-wide programs
- Work closely with regional management teams to develop tools to support operational needs for development of frontline, supervisory, and management staff
- Conduct local field rides and provide coaching
- Keep abreast of training industry trends for evaluation and/or incorporation into training strategies
- Secure and maintain appropriate certifications for external and/or internal leadership programs as appropriate.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned
- Maintain punctual, regular, and consistent attendance

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in a related field, or the recognized equivalent in work experience, or a combination of work experience and education.

EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of training and/or learning and development experience;
- 3-4 years experience in leadership training.
- 2-3 years sales experience (Sales Management experience a plus)
- Excellent platform delivery skills required.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of leadership and professional development best practices, adult learning theory, instructional design and teaching and facilitation techniques.
- Demonstrated effectiveness as a team player and relationship manager.
