We provide custom gift card solutions for prepaid cards, loyalty and B2B applications and annually processes one billion transactions for 600 clients and their 580 million cardholders.The Data Control Clerk is responsible for all aspects as they relate to Merchant Boarding. They will receive and review new merchant applications plus communicate to various departments regarding incomplete submissions. They will enter merchant information plus provide quality review within a variety of systems; they will also log errors found. Will perform terminal downloads with either the merchant or sales agent and conduct phone trainings for merchants as requested. They must accurately track applications in the necessary tracking system and communicate with outside vendors regarding account set-ups as required. They will need to test terminal applications via downloading equipment and running transactions and maintain merchant accounts as related to banking information changes, merchant information, and terminal information. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED required; some college or vocational school preferred with an emphasis on computer hardware/software courses. At least 6 months of related customer service or retail experience. Call Center experience is a plus. A strong technical aptitude and two to three years trouble-shooting experience in a technical environment a plus. The qualified candidate must have a strong level of personal organization with excellent oral/written communication skills. Must be detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment while effectively managing multiple tasks. Excellent customer service and communication skills with good problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly grasp technical procedures and systems are required. The individual must be able to maintain high service levels with regard to detail and accuracy. A working knowledge of Microsoft Windows with Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet usage is required. Transaction processing and/or customer service experience is a plus. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefit package.
