Data Operations Associate

We are looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic and innovative team as a Data Operations Associate. An associate will assist in major Investment Technology projects as well as firm wide data management initiatives, aiding with data flow design, data conversion mapping, and project implementation related activities.





- Gain a technical knowledge of our current systems' functionality as they relate to data and help document the existing enterprise level data flows
- Aide with implementation of the firm's data governance model across all business groups and many different applications
- Work with business unit managers to understand how their groups use various data elements
- Help analyze current data uses and make recommendations for new and improved workflows
- Prepare requirements and specifications for system enhancements and/or testing
- Responsible for maintenance and administration of all of the firm's market data
- Assisting with defining the project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders





- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- 1-2 years related experience and/or industry experience preferable
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
- Ability to define data problems, establish facts, and devise efficient solutions
- Desire to build skills in data analysis
- Great attention to detail
- Courteous, business-like oral and written communication skills
- Can prioritize and cope with changes in daily workload
- Can work under several deadlines including numerous intra-day deadlines
