Cision is currently seeking a Database/Application Developer to develop database and application solutions based on SQL Server 2005 interfacing with .Net applications.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities: Application and database developmentMonitoring, debugging, resolving production and QA database issuesDefining client requirements and turning these requirements into deliverablesDatabase and application changes across multiple systemsManaging and developing application databasesDesign and develop modules for Cision s systems and applicationsMaintain database and application code, including debugging processes and enhancement requestsAbility to work on system level solutionsUnderstanding of the core business function(s) of the companyMentoring more junior members of the team Requirements: 4+ years SQL Server development or database maintenance experience2+ years experience with database modeling, stored procedures, jobs, complex queries and modifications1+ years experience programming in C#, .Net or SQL Server 2000/20053+ years experience troubleshooting application, database, and/or networking issuesExperience with DTS or SSISExperience with XML/XSLExperience as a SQL Server DBA desirableExperience with SSAS desirableBachelor s degree in computer science or related field
