This position will serve as the first point of contact to clients and vendors while providing high quality record keeping and participant services to Russell's Institutional clients. In addition, you will work with Account Executives and Client Executives to deliver superior client experiences. This position is eligible for relocation. The responsibilities of the individual in this position include: Handling the daily service and administration of participant accounts Responding to record-keeper inquiries regarding participant requests, client direction, vendor escalation and internal/external legal counsel directives Implementing processes and procedures for Russell, clients, participants and vendor interaction Researching, preparing and corresponding with vendors, custodians, regulatory agencies and participants Assisting with the preparation of legal documentation and correspondence Reviewing client and participant documentation for completeness Coordinating with Account Executive, legal, clients and vendors to request documentation as necessary Resolving 90% of inbound participant requests for plan documentation, regulations and vendor processes Serving as primary liaison between Russell and vendors Ensuring all participant and client issues, requests, resolutions and other relevant information are documented through the use of Russell's tracking system (Sales Logix, Access, etc) Partnering with Account Executives to provide high quality record keeping services and content status updates to internal/external senior management Participating in and leading various projects to increase productivity and/or update current procedures Acting as primary contact for department on record keeping, custody and audit issues Developing and maintaining department procedures for participant escalation, status monitoring and record keeping issues Effectively communicating department policies/procedures to clients, participants and all levels of management Participating in discussions regarding new funds, new managers, new products or services for the plan Communicating and implementing new products, services, etc. into the day to day workflow at Russell and with our vendors The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experience, including the following: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting 3-6 years of defined contribution and record keeping experience related to institutional client service, including direct customer service Strong knowledge of defined contribution plans and trust accounting Solid understanding of ERISA/Pension Protection Act/Internal Revenue Code Close attention to detail Proven, superior relationship management, problem-solving, analytical, time-management, prioritization, written/verbal communication skills Ability to learn quickly and be adaptable to change Flexibility to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Team-oriented with a talent for networking and partnering with others High degree of professionalism Assertive, self-motivated and self-directed with a high level of initiative Benefits: Life balance matters here.
