The Developer II is an intermediate programming role that is responsible for developing and enhancing IT systems, applications, and databases based on guidance provided by a more senior team member. The Developer II must be able to perform their responsibilities with little supervision.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities: Design and develop modules for current systems and applicationsMaintain application code, including debugging processes and enhancement requestsAbility to work on system level solutionsUnderstanding of the core business function(s) of the companyAssist senior team member in design specificationsResponsibilities will include defect tracking, prioritization, and assignment of defects to developersWork as a liaison role between business experts, Quality Assurance tem and developers to resolve issues related to software defectsCandidate may also be involved in coordination of the periodic application and build processThe process requires interaction with the development staff, QA, and our software deployment group (AMT)Performs other duties as assignedAssist in general IT activitiesProvide after-hours support for systems and applications

Requirements: 3+ years programming experience2+ years experience in 3GL or 4GL development environmentSystems modeling experienceExperience with one or more of the following: windows Media Server 9.0, SQL Server, MySQL, and web based applications2+ years experience with .Net preferredBachelor s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field preferred
