Direct Marketing Data Quality & Management Analyst Senior Associate - 00J5W
This role advises internal clients on, and implements, the goals, strategy and tactics of customer data quality and customer data management for the Americas Communications and Marketing group within the Area's data privacy, confidentiality and Safe Harbor requirements for managing, sharing and transferring data across borders. Customer data means contact and company information for both external targets of firm communications (clients, potential clients, and non-clients), and internal individuals (EY employees). Responsibilities Advise internal clients on and executes list creation, audience acquisition, data imports and other data work at client's request for the Global Electronic List Management system and the Marketing Resource Management system, and any other marketing information system tools as necessary. Advise clients on managing data within the requirements of the firm's data privacy and Safe Harbor policies., Advises on and implements customer data quality metrics and processes that support ROI, response rate, and effectiveness measures of data quality initiatives. Advise on and perform data quality scorecards for candidate systems. Execute quality improvement activities. Produce and communicate data quality reporting for internal clients. Independently drives creation and improvement of new data quality processes. Proposes and implements process and business driven changes for Americas data model and business rules for data management. Proactively produces input and feedback for data governance guiding principles. Acts as a resource for business-side data stewards to help them understand master data management initiatives. Liaises with Americas and Global IT to facilitate data integrations, reporting, and data quality and data model management. Provides input into the creation and augmentation of standardized data models. Teams with campaign managers to produce high quality, detailed campaign and audience analyses. Teams with multiple groups to produce single view of the customer analyses across disparate campaigns and databases. Advises internal clients about their role in data quality and data management business rules, policies, processes, industry standards and best practices. Applies a thorough understanding of the organization structure, to synthesize and incorporate organizational changes affecting Global Electronic List Management system and marketing information system data. Provides input on policies and guidelines for management of data and data quality within the Global Electronic List Management system and its information chain, and within the Marketing Information system and its information chain. Provides input for system development as it relates to data quality and data management. Provides input to evaluate and recommend data quality and management softwares and processes. Bachelor's degree in related discipline. 4+ years experience in data quality and data management or related disciplines. Travel may be required to manage the completion of a project as well as an extended work day during some of those assignments. Continuing education and knowledge acquisition of developments in European Union and Safe Harbor data privacy rules and data marketing policies such as Can Spam. Strong data analysis and representation skills. Strong knowledge of relational databases. Strong knowledge of electronic information systems and their implementation at the firm, specifically the standard marketing information systems and group management tools. High competency in MS office (Excel, MS Access). Intermediate knowledge of programming languages (C++, Java, asp) Oracle, P-SQL, Microsoft SQL, T-SQL, Boolean logic Working knowledge of network architecture and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
