We are currently seeking a qualified DIRECTOR CONTRACTING ANALYSIS & SUPPORT.  The incumbent will plan, direct and implement analysis and support functions to increase use of and profitability of the SSPHO through selectively targeted relationships with managed care plans. Responsible for the development and refinement of a managed care strategies designed to identify economically beneficial HMO/PPO/EPO relationships for the organization. The Director of Contracting Analysis & Support works closely with the PHO Board and staff on planning, reporting, financial analysis and operations to meet the goals set for managed care, recruitment and marketing. Master’s degree in business management, or related field. 7-10 years experience in health care with at least two 2-3 years working closely with physicians. Requires experience in the managed care industry, understanding of health care delivery system and hospital operations; familiarity with the group health insurance market, both conventional indemnity and self insured products; awareness of physician referral arrangements; knowledge of managed care process, provider reimbursement and financial risk models; and utilization management procedures.
