Director, Enterprise Decision Support

Washington, PA.  Our Customer Contact Center supports Sales and Service Operations for AARP Health, providing premier healthcare products for people 50 years of age and older. The Hartford Customer Services Group (HCSG) was founded in 1998 in response to AARP's decision to make The Hartford the member services provider for its group health insurance program. HCSG is the key service provider to AARP Health, a program offering health care solutions to AARP members and their families.  HCSG is a customer contact center specializing in customer service and sales for the 50+ marketplace.  HCSG's clients include: United Health Care, MetLife, Genworth, Delta Dental, Aetna and EyeMed.  Headquartered in Fort Washington, PA, with an office in Allentown, PA, HCSG has approximately 1,200 employees. HCSG is a business unit of The Hartford Personal Lines, which is part of The Hartford Worldwide Property-Casualty Operations.  WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION? This position provides enterprise-wide support and process to facilitate executive and management decision-making and drive business outcomes.  The primary areas of support include; market, customer, and operational analytics, analytics support infrastructure, data management and standardization processes, and enterprise reporting management. Position accountabilities include:Managing and supporting effective enterprise reporting processes to facilitate decision-making efforts. Overseeing the process of producing meaningful business intelligence through the application of data mining and advanced statistical analysis techniques. Managing enterprise usage of data in reporting and analysis. Leveraging market research sources as a key input to understanding the environment and how it, in conjunction with reported results, impacts key business initiatives.   Successful candidates will have:the capability to effectively deploy quantitative, marketing, and business disciplines a high level of analytic aptitude, experience in quantitative methods and tools strong interpersonal skills and project management skills to identify client needs and sell ideas at all levels of management strong communication skills to effectively present information internally and externally and to all levels of management personnel management skills with ability to provide professional development for subordinatesWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 7+ years business experience Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing, Mathematics/Statistics or quantitative discipline MS/MA, MBA or other appropriate advanced degree desirable SAS experience is required Expertise in contact center operations and systems strongly preferred Superior analytic, communications, leadership, and relationship-building skills A demonstrated record of action-oriented management of professional staff in data based decision making and implementationWHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY?  At the Hartford, our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay competitive base salaries and reward performance.
