Director Human Resources

This position will be responsible for the direction and management of the Human Resources function to include:

 

1) Staffing, recruiting, and employee orientation.

2) Employee relations for a non union work environment

3) Safety Training

4) Employee benefit programs

5) Compensation planning and administration

6) Staff development programs

7) Employee communications

 

Candidates must have at least ten years of HR experience with a solid progression of growth and expanded areas of expertise in the HR function.

Minimum of five years as a Director or Manager of HR with 300 to 500 employees with responsibility for all of the HR functions. Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting a variety of disciplines including semi skilled, skilled trades, administrative support, sales and service, and senior management. Familiar with applicable state and federal labor laws and regulatory compliance. Experience in the development of programs to maintain a non-union work environment.

 

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization. Ability to handle sensitive employee and business matters and build a sense of trust with employees and management.

 

Proficient with in the use of MS Word, Excel, and other related programs.
