Director, New Product Marketing

 

The Director of New Product Marketing is responsible for new product/packaging development, product pipeline development, marketing planning, cost and sales forecast analysis and market analysis.  The person in this position will identify and leverage consumer insights and trends to develop new product recommendations and will lead the approved pipeline plan to execution.  The role requires effective collaboration with multiple groups, including:  R&D, marketing, finance, manufacturing, purchasing and international.  The Director, New Product Marketing reports directly to the VP of New Business Development and would manage 1-2 direct reports.

Experience:Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) required, MBA a plus5+ years of marketing experience requiredMinimum 2 years new product development (new brands, line extensions, new packaging) requiredFoundation in classic packaged goods marketing or network marketing desired
