DIRECTOR, PERFORMANCE

ANALYTICS

 

Working closely with the Vice President on the automation of the health system's supply distribution and replenishment process, the selected candidate will oversee supply chain analytics in Corporate Contracting for West Penn Allegheny Health System.

 

West Penn Allegheny Health System is a large health system comprised of six hospital facilities (two tertiary teaching hospitals and four community hospitals), a research institute and primary care and specialty physician networks located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With revenues of approximately $1.5 billion, the System employs over 13,000 staff, including about 500 physicians.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

. Directs staff of Contract Analysts responsible for pricing and contract analyses, performance metrics, benchmarking and dashboard reporting for business partner spend, rebates, and group purchasing activity.

. Directs and engages Corporate Contracting, Materials Managers, Pharmacy Directors and vendor partners in all aspects of the e-Materials strategy

. Plans, implements and administers daily activities related to e-Materials strategy

. Acts as project team lead for the e-Materials infrastructure, as well as achievement of financial strategy goals

. Maintains e-Materials budget, contract agreements, purchase orders, invoices, etc.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

. Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)

. Minimum 10 years’ progressively responsible hospital operations experience that includes Senior Director level position (vice president level and/or consulting experience preferred)

. Experience working with large databases and development of performance measurements.

. Superior presentation, verbal/written communication, facilitation and negotiation skills

. Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical capabilities

. Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle to travel through Western PA
