Our client is a 24-hour television network dedicated to providing a rich blend of family-friendly, enriching entertainment to today's family.  Offered on broadcast stations, cable systems and 4DTV across North America.

The Director of Affiliate Sales will report to the Senior Vice President and will be located in the Mid-West or Western United States.  This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced affiliate sales professional that enjoys developing affiliate relationships and growing market share.

Requirements include:Thorough understanding of the needs of the MSO, local cable providers, direct broadcast satellite providers, and telcos.Knowledge of changing technology needs of consumers, and trends related to video, data, and audio usage.A successful history of negotiating and closing network carriage contracts with local cable systems.Strong knowledge of FCC regulations regarding local cable systems, must carry, HD, digital channel assignments, telco franchises.B.A. or B.S. degree with three – five years of experience in cable affiliate sales and relations.
