Apex Companies, LLC, a national provider of environmental, health, safety, and engineering services, is seeking a self-motivated, multi-faceted professional to lead corporate-wide health and safety program initiatives for our 21 office locations throughout the United States. This position is ideal for health and safety experts who desire to become part of a successful Team that values health and safety in all aspects of business.  The Director of Corporate Health & Safety can work from our Rockville, Maryland; Manassas, Virginia; or Malvern, Pennsylvania location.

 

This position requires 10+ years of senior-level health and safety experience as well as a minimum BA/BS in Industrial Hygiene, Health and Safety, or other related field. MS degree and related professional certifications (CIH, CSP, etc.) are a plus.  This is a Corporate position, providing internal health and safety leadership; however, in addition to corporate experience, some experience providing health and safety services in a consulting capacity for field, industrial, construction, and office environments is preferred.  Some business development experience is also helpful.
