Director of FoodService - HQ General Summary: The Director of FoodService Sales contributes to The Pepsi Bottling Group’s success by providing leadership for the Travel and Leisure channel, Access Accounts {specialty retail}, PBG’s Full Service Vending (FSV) and our Education Channel—both K-12 & College & University. This person is responsible for strategic direction, PepsiCo partnerships and Annual Operating Plan development. Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: Builds channel dominance by anticipating channel needs and developing responsive business strategies Provides effective customer wiring for Travel & Leisure National Accounts — Hyatt, Marriott, Starwood Provides strategic direction and ROIC assistance for Key education accounts and access accounts Leads direction for PBG’s Full Service vending business, 160,000+ assets Integrates competitor information and channel/customer knowledge with customer priorities to develop business opportunities and Annual Operating Plan Leverages internal systems and processes to enhance Sales solutions for customers Analyze business trends to develop business growth strategies Assesses and develops recommendations for Technology investments that can help deliver improved productivity and ROIC for PBG’s FSV (Vending) business Basic Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 7 years of fact-based direct selling experience FoodService and/or CPG experience National strategic selling experiences with multiple distributors Basic software competency-MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ExcelPreferred Qualifications: Direct store delivery (DSD) exposure Direct Key Account management/selling experience Very good communications skills, oral, written, presentation
