Dynamic company is currently assisting our Las Vegas client in the search for a Director of PMO. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a high profile client and the position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

 

As the Director of PMO, you will provide strategic IT program direction for technology delivery development initiatives. The position will be responsible for developing and fostering key business stakeholder relationships maintaining frequent, high quality communications with the clients/stakeholders and all other affected individuals. This person will partner with Business Units, Business Solutions Directors, Infrastructure Directors and Technical Account Managers for design through implementation of business systems and technology architecture. In addition, you will manage a matrixed organization of project managers, business analysts, technology engineers, software development engineers, QA analysts, contracted resources, and vendor representatives to meet the business requirements of the program.

 

We are seeking a dynamic individual who is not afraid to be a hands-on leader. To be considered for this position, you MUST have previous experience with Clarity and have preferably gone through an implementation. Additionally, we are seeking candidates who have a current title of Director or VP, are working for a Fortune 500 company, have launched a PMO framework and a least five years of management experience dealing with teams and HR issues. You should also be familiar with Six Sigma methodologies as they relate to Project Management framework.

 

It is also preferred that you have:

** PMP Certification

** College degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology or related field required.

** Masters degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology or related field desired (or commensurate work experience).
