Director of Performance Improvement and Compliance

 

MedMetrics Health Partners, Inc. (MedMetrics), a non-profit, full service pharmacy benefits management company (PBM), affiliated with UMass Medical School, is seeking a Director of Performance Improvement and Compliance to join our senior management team.  MedMetrics is unique in its full transparency business model, its association with a top-rated medical school, and it’s partnership with a recognized leader in the improvement of health outcomes.  MedMetrics was formed in 2004 and is headquartered in Worcester, MA.

 

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Performance Improvement and Compliance will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing all performance improvement/quality assurance and contract compliance activities, and will ensure that improvement activities are directed toward analysis of data with a focus on improvement of process and enhancement of clinical, operational, and service quality.  The Director will lead internal performance improvement teams and initiatives, including accreditation and certification processes.

 

The Director will work closely with enterprise legal counsel and designated outside legal counsel to ensure legal review and input is obtained for proposals, contracts, and related compliance and quality initiatives.  The Director will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal privacy regulations.

 

Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred, and a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in quality improvement and/or operations.  Certification as a Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is preferred.  Demonstrated successful experience in SAS70, NCQA and URAC accreditation activities is required.  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to influence, lead and enable change within multidisciplinary groups are necessary.
