Our products include The Medical Disability Advisor, now in its Fifth Edition. In addition, we conduct training and educational seminars around the world as a recognized authority on disability issues.
 
About the Position:
We are searching for a Director of Product Sales and Marketing. The Director of Product Sales and Marketing is responsible for the overall performance of product sales for Reed Group. This individual provides direction and management of the product sales team. This Director is also responsible for marketing activities for the company’s guidelines’ products including market analysis and expansion. This position will drive growth in new guidelines sales, guidelines customer retention, and product revenue goals. Activities include strategic planning, profit analysis, sales forecasting, sales team development and implementation of incentives and new product launches.

Essential Functions include:
1. Develop product sales plan to include strategy, profit analysis, sales projections for annual and quarterly goals. Manage process and produce reports for executive staff.
2. Establish annual and quarterly product sales and retention goals, implement strategy and create directives for the product sales staff and partners to accomplish these goals.
3. Direct the development of a global product sales organization through strategic deployment of internal product sales staff and product resale partners.
4. Leads product sales team to achieve sales goals; manage and evaluate the contributions of individual product sales team members and resellers.
5. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of business issues that drive the sale.
6. Develop and present technical sales presentations, demonstrating in-depth product knowledge and industry expertise, and a thorough understanding of business issues that drive the sale.
7. Serve as executive level sales consultant for key accounts; make sales presentations, ascertain client needs and identify value added solutions for sophisticated formulaic buyers.
8. Develop and execute a marketing plan for Reed Group’s guidelines products; perform market analysis to identify potential key accounts.
9. Identify potential market opportunities for products and services. Build a significant network and presence in the marketplace for Reed Group.
10. Periodically report on actual progress toward accomplishment of product sales goals. Evaluate product sales/marketing plans and make decisions to drive success.
11. Negotiate complex contracts, gain access to key decision makers and build relationships within fortune 500 companies and governments.
12. Develop response strategy and oversee team contributions to RFP’s and RFI’s.
13. Cooperate in business development decisions with marketing and product development staff.
14. Participate in sales/marketing events and trade shows.
15. Travel requirement up to 40% to 60% time to client sites

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Business / Marketing or related field, with significant professional sales training; MBA preferred. Must have 3+ years of sales management experience and 5+ years of technical product sales experience, working with large accounts. Must be able to demonstrate success in all areas of sales including strategic planning, forecasting, team management and achievement of profitable sales goals. Must have working knowledge in the area of disability case management and occupational health law; 5 years of work experience within the industry preferred.
 
Location:
This position is based in Westminster, CO, only miles from the Rocky Mountains and downtown Denver area.
