Territory & Scope: Currently, the States of IL, MN. Team: 4 Field Salespeople, 2 Area Managers, 1 Key Account Manager.
Summary: Regional Directors are leaders in the company as well as in the field. This position oversees all people, all new and existing distributors, pricing, programming, budgets and forecasting, and also serves as the company’s key link to the state of the business across every market in the region. There are three components to the position: people development, building distributor partnerships and brand & market development. Like all members of the team, this person is required to have fun while being a Ambassador of good beer and good cheer.
People Development - Responsible for overseeing development plans for all team members including annual reviews, quarterly progress reports, skill development days and succession plans.
Developing Strong Distributor Partnerships - Develops true partnerships at all distributors by adding more value than competitors through the contributions of your people, sales systems, brands, brand support tools, and a generally good-natured way of doing business that is uniquely our client. If it isn’t fun it isn’t right.
Market & Brand Development - Oversees the growth and development of all brands in all markets within a region while ensuring that the brand’s integrity is never compromised. Calls on key accounts as needed. Ensures execution of quality standards region-wide.
Qualifications: 6-8 years as a rising star in beverage sales, national accounts and wholesale distribution management. Must have thorough understanding of distributor workings, national accounts, brand building, people development, basic computer skills and pricing dynamics. P&L Responsibility Required. Must be eager to learn, to grow, to manage chaos and to create fun. And then want to do it all over again in a way that people will remember.
Must have a squeaky clean driving record. Motor Vehicle Record checks will be conducted on candidates
Salary range for this position will be $90,000 to $120,000
