Director of Sales - Fluid Control Products

Director of Sales – Fluid Control ProductsA global leader within the engineering, manufacturing and distribution of quality pneumatic and fluid control solutions is searching for a dynamic leader capable of managing a sales team and driving revenue growth.  This newly created position provides an opportunity to direct aggressive growth initiatives of a profitable organization with a strong reputation and the commitment of resources required to achieve success.  KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  1.  Implement those defined strategies and tactics to achieve budgeted order input and revenue shipments. Recommends to staff channel strategies for served markets. 2.  Attract, train, motivate, educate and develop high potential sales personnel to aid in the attainment of divisional goals and objectives.  3.  Directly responsible for major account and/or corporate level sales and marketing activities and the communication of goals and objectives throughout the network.  4.  Develop specific business and sales plans to achieve growth objectives to include new product development introductions and engineering services programs. 5.  Implement marketing programs consistent with product line strategies to generate lead referral, new account acquisitions and revenue/market share improvements6.  Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with the personnel of each assigned channel partner and/or major account. This may include multi state or region corporate headquarters liaison activity. 7.  Fairly arbitrate channel conflicts as they may arise between the assigned geographical channels.  QUALIFICATIONS: 1.  The position requires ten years of related industry, channel and/or management experience.2.  Undergraduate degree.
