Job Description:

Networkcar is looking for a District Manager who will be responsible for maintaining and growing exisiting reseller distribution, signing new resellers in an assigned territory and identifying new Vertical Market opportunities for additional resellers.  The District Manager will be responsible for training the reseller sales staff and providing ongoing support with all aspects of the Reseller/Networkcar relationship.  The District Manager will also be responsible for direct sales opportunities within the assigned territory that are deemed appropriate by management.

 

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

 Drive new sales and additional penetration in existing accounts in order to achieve sales goals. Add productive Resellers in all applicable markets throughout the assigned territory.Maintain a professional working relationship with all internal associates and external customers and provide training and support to reseller sales staff.Basic administrative duties including but not limited to updates and maintenance of appropriate reporting/database systems (funnel management systems, customer information database, and customer targeting, etc), SalesForce.com.  

 

Skills & Qualifications:

 Minimum of five (5) years experience in sales – preferrably in the wireless, telecommunication, and/or telematics industryBachelor’s Degree, four years of college or equivalent in work experience and educationStrong direct sales and relationship management experienceProven sales successProven strategic agilityExcellent PC hardware/software skills including all of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Strong influential skills/level of charisma for building long-term relationshipsPersuasive in sales closing abilityExcellent written/oral communication Account planning experienceAbility to maintain a heavy travel schedule Self-starter requiring little supervisionAbility to occassionaly lift up to 25lbs

 

The candidate selected for this role will be expected to take action and make recommendations that will have an extensive impact on a specific business function.  The candidate selected will be responsible for results, must meet short and long-term goals or achieve accomplishments through overseeing channel strategies. In addition, the candidate must have excellent customer service skills and have the ability to operate in a matrixed environment.  The candidate should also posses creativity and be the able to continously improve processes.
