Driver Education

Navigator Driving Academy is a growing company seeking part time drivers education instructors.  You must be a certified drivers education instructor through the State of Michigan in order to apply.  One to two years experience is preferred, but not necessary.
We mainly teach on the north side of Grand Rapids but have locations in Wyoming, Plainfield, Rockford, Tri-County and Big Rapids.  Job will include teaching teens and adults behind the wheel as well as the classroom portion of Segment One and Segment Two.   
You must be comfortable teaching teens in a classroom and have a passion for teaching teens the proper way to drive.  You will be working mainly without direct supervision and will be scheduling your own drive times during the summer months.  
We will provide you with the national curriculum, if teaching the classroom portion, and its up to you make drivers ed enjoyable to the teens.
You must be able to work 2:30 - 9:00 during the school year and 8:00 - 5:00 during the summer.  You will also need to be available for 2 weekends each month.  Our classes run for 3 weeks and you will have the 4 week off.
