E Commerce Manager

Multichannel marketer is looking for a strong E Commerce Director. Must have experience developing and executing ecommerce digital strategy including SEO, SEM, Paid Search, Email Marketing, Online Advertising, Affiliate Marketing, Web Analytics and Cross-channel integration. Will develop and execute marketing plans to support business strategies. Savvy online marketer with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on  interactive marketing/advertising.

 

Job Responsibilities: Ensure revenue and profitability goals are met by overseeing all Internet Marketing initiatives; Plan monthly website, e-mail and other promotions for the eCommerce site; Develop and implement Internet marketing strategies and tactics to increase web-site traffic and improve conversion, average order size, and repeat visits; Develop and administer eCommerce cross-sell and up-sell opportunities;  Ensure the online product presentation is compelling.  You will have input from Merchandising and New Product Development teams and you will direct the work of Copy Writers and Web Designers; Manage the development of creative for the web site using both internal and external resources; Develop e-mail marketing program and manage production and transmission of e-mal messages Improve page performance by directing the testing of online store department and product pages, e-mail campaigns and landing pages; Maximize the profitability of campaigns by collaborating with the search marketing vendor and internal staff on paid search planning and program execution; Increase incoming traffic from organic listings.  You will oversee web site search engine optimization and work with internal staff and vendors on planning and program execution; Manage affiliate existing marketing programs Identify ways to improve the user experience.  You will review web analytic data and use other methods to ensure there are no usability issues with the web site; Report to top management on the performance of the web site and progress toward achieving goals; Keep abreast of industry trends and opportunities.

Requirements: 5+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce Marketing including campaign development and performance analysis. Excellent knowledge of Internet related technologies and best practices including, but not limited to, eCommerce, search engine optimization, and e-mail newsletters. Experience using web analytics applications. Knowledge of web site development project life cycle. Ability to oversee and prioritize multiple projects. Solid consensus building skills. 

 Strong technical aptitude including some ability to understand basic web development. Programming is not expected for this position.
