Electronic Technician III Step A

Description:  Calibration, operation, and maintenance of telemetry receiving systems, to include, tracking antennas, amplifiers, multicouplers, receivers and combiners. Operate telemetry data processing equipment. Build-up, install, calibrate and operate instrumentation systems on air dropped and ground test payloads, to include flying support as required. Must be knowledgeable of RCC/IRG standards concerning airborne transmitter systems and ground receiving/processing stations. Skills:  Pay Rate: $25.15/HourMandatory Qualifications:Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have an AA Degree or higher and ten years related experience as an instrumentation technician with at least two years of this experience in the O&M of RF transmitting and receiving systems (Military electronics training and experience may be substituted for AA Degree requirement.) Must possess a Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Must be capable of working in outdoor weather conditions. Must be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted. Must be capable of kneeling and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical. Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance within 18 months of hire. Desired Qualifications:BS Degree in Electronics or Engineering Technology. Current security clearance.
