Pilgrim's Pride is currently seeking an Estate Maintenance Technician for our Pittsburg, TX location. The maintenance technician is responsible for ongoing maintenance and oversight of repairs for Pilgrim’s Pride estate properties.

Will be responsible for:
• Perform basic maintenance duties including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and grounds maintenance.
• Monitor and coordinate maintenance and repair of all building electrical facilities and systems, heating, ventilation, cooling systems and plumbing systems.
• Investigate and troubleshoot problems with facility systems and coordinate problem resolution as appropriate.
• Troubleshoot and resolve routine maintenance problems such as mechanical or equipment malfunctions.
• Contact and coordinate external service agencies to schedule repair work and ensure timely and effective work order completion as appropriate.
• Ensure adequate stock and serviceability of necessary maintenance supplies and equipment as appropriate.
• Prepare and maintain records on all maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
• Respond to requests for emergency repairs.
• Obtain cost estimates for supplies, parts and equipment repair.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory of parts.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Five+ years building maintenance experience.
• Ability to assess and prioritize work requests to determine the daily schedule.
• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
• Familiar with all aspects of building maintenance.
• Previous electrical experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate (both verbally and in writing)
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to dismantle, repair, install, or move machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma/GED
