Executive Communications Manager

Whether that is: Educating employees about the bigger picture Translating the company’s finances (are we succeeding and why?) Identifying information gaps in the organization and filling them Provide coaching and expertise to executives Proposing and preparing change communications Training execs and employees on interactive social media tools Advising and implementing crisis communications Showing employees how what they do matters Our product is explanation and interpretation. This role will provide strategic, internal communications support for two senior vice presidents including crafting communications plans, writing quarterly and periodic results memos and major organizational announcements, creating business stories and articles on SVP and IPG internal websites, attending organization staff meetings to gain deeper organizational understanding and to provide real-time communications support, and providing ongoing internal communications consultation, including measurement and two-way communications with employees. As part of the IPG internal communications team, this role also entails organization and company wide-support such as crisis communications, mergers and acquisition communications, and social media/community building communications. Position is based in San Diego, California.Ideal candidates will possess a proven, high degree of competency in: Building effective relationships Writing and design Understanding complex business issues Proactive content creation Consulting and coaching Cross-functional awareness Innovation and creativity Strategic planning Social media 5-7 years experience in communications field BA, Business AdministrationMA preferredMust have excellent written and verbal communication skills © 2007 Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
