Export Order Coordinator

This position has complete responsibility for coordinating the ordering, packaging, shipping and invoicing of all products for an export order in compliance with U.S. export regulations and to coordinate the process for payment and coding of costs associated with export order.  Responsibilities:  Act as direct contact with requisitioner to frame the order into the best shipping configuration.  Obtain source and price for product purchase.  Place orders for product with MI-SWACO plants, warehouses and/or approved vendors.  Coordinate with export packer and freight forwarder to ensure timely transportation to point of embarkation.  Comply with destination country requirements.  Process shipment for invoicing in the ERP system.  Invoice customer or MI-SWACO entity.  Maintain file of correspondence and documents related to order.  Qualifications:  Minimum- High school diploma with a minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar job description.  Some college preferred, degree a definite plus.  Bilingual a plus.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office( Oracle a plus).  Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.  Strong ability to mult-task with appreciation for deadlines.  Strong quality focus is a must and able to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.  Effective written and oral communication skills
