As a member of EY's core Tax practice, you will have the combination of deep tax knowledge and a sophisticated understanding of business drivers to serve your clients to the best of your ability.We currently have a career opportunity for a Manager in our Federal Tax Services practice working in our Quantitative Services Group ("QS"). QS is a team of tax professionals engaged in implementing and delivering high value tax planning ideas to the Financial Services Office (FSO) largest clients. Responsibilities QS Managers help the team implement large, leveraged tax projects and play an integral role in applying proven methodologies to specific client circumstances as part of a project team. Team members typically work directly with the client delivering specialized consulting services to the firms top tier companies including the FSO's largest clients. The QS Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of projects, training and developing QS seniors and staff, and the drafting and delivery of client proposals. In addition, the QS Manager has a great opportunity to build relationships with new and existing clients as the QS group continues to grow the FSO client base. To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or a related field (an advanced degree in tax or law is highly desirable) a minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience or equivalent experience in business or industry CPA certification is preferred broad exposure to federal income taxation excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills Strong MS Office skillsNY-New York
