Field Marketing Specialist
RESPONSIBILITIES:Event Coordination: -Execute regional customer appreciation events, customer productivity fairs, regional trade shows, and catalog launch events. -Project management and coordination may include creative development and production of support materials, site selection, on-site participation, budget management, and strategic coaching of the field sales team. -Develop, execute, and manage invitations to customers, key suppliers, and associates for all events.Marketing Materials Support: -Responsible for maintaining inventory, distributing, and re-ordering materials. -Responsible for developing custom communications and materials for the region as required. These materials may include implementation materials, product flyers, and the customization of existing tools. -Provide field sales team with training on new tools, programs, and materials as necessary. -Participate in customer meetings. Responsibilities include providing quarterly marketing updates for key customers during account reviews, participating in prospecting calls, and participating in all phases of customer implementation meetings (demonstrating marketing capabilities, building the marketing implementation plan, approving the budget with sales, and executing the plan) Drive Key Corporate Marketing Initiatives: -Support key supplier program; build relationships with regional key supplier contacts. -Act as liaison with field sales to communicate feedback regarding marketing programs, tools and materials. -Provide marketing support for regional Catalog Launch events, the Annual Sales Conference, and other major marketing initiatives as necessary.Finance: -Supervise and approve ASI orders at the district/region level. -Manage ASI requests to maximize balance between customer need vs. fiscal responsibility. Provide field sales coaching when necessary. -Manage all invoices and insure that they are entered into budget tracker and submitted for payment as necessary. Complete and submit check requests when needed. -Responsible for managing key components of regional FM budgets including: ASI, customer appreciation events, and some local marketing funds.Travel: - Coordinators must be willing and able to travel up to 35% of the time as part of event coordination and sales force training initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS:Computer skills; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OutlookAbility to multi-task and to work independently in fast paced environment.Strong organizational skills Strong communications skills, team playerAbility to travel a must (25% of time)Ability to negotiate
