Finance-Director/Vice President of Strategic Business Analysis (100-120k plus bonus and equity)

The Strategic Business Analysis Group of a Premiere International Conglomerate is looking for a Director/Vice President. This highly visible strategic group supports the company's CFO (and reports to the SVP Strategic Planning, who reports to the CFO). The group has 3 primary responsibilities:

1. Create and execute projects focused on strategy, business analysis, and benchmarking that drive business performance.

2. Manage and enhance the company-wide portfolio optimization process and provide analysis and guidance on how to improve the company’s resource allocation and strategy realization.


3 Manage the corporate innovation fund and associated initiative to generate, select, develop, and deploy high-impact business concepts.

This high profile position contributes regularly to presentations to the CEO, CFO, Operating Committee, Board of Directors and analyst community.

Qualifications:

• 7-10+ years work experience (or post-top MBA, with business experience)
• Strong presentation and communications skills at senior levels.
• Understanding of trends (social, technological, economic, political) and ability to assess their potential business impact.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle time sensitive deadlines
• Ability to understand linkages between diverse and large data sets in order to extrapolate meanings and build a story.
• Knowledge of financial services industry and resource allocation/portfolio management strongly preferred
