Financial Analyst Summary

Our client, a Fortune 100 firm in Seattle, WA, has a contract position open for a Financial Analyst.

Financial Analyst ResponsibilitiesWill evaluate YTD time-reporting data and conduct interviews with operations managers to develop recommendations to optimize labor capitalization results. Will be placed in a fast paced and highly motivated environment to initiate recommendations and maintain documented support.Responsible for supporting the development of operating plans, financial forecasts and operational support documentation and for conducting research and analyses.Perform moderate to complex projects involving the analysis of financial, accounting,
performance and/or operating data. Analysis and reporting may include areas such as budgeting, forecasting, loan servicing, investments, cash management, etc.Assemble, compile, and analyze information, and resolve errors/inconsistencies in data from financial reporting systems.

 

 

Essential Financial Analyst Skills & CharacteristicsBA in Finance or related field 2+ years progressively responsible work experience in financial analysesAbility to prepare regular and special financial statements including (but not limited to) balance sheets, budgets, forecasts, profit and loss statements and statements of sources and uses of funds.Must understand and be able to interpret financial/performance data, and to develop mathematical models that produce the desired resultsPC skills with Microsoft products such as Excel, Access, Word and PowerPointExcellent written and oral communication skills, problem solving and analytical skillsData management and data analysis skills Ability to communicate at multiple levels of staff/management
