FINANCIAL ANALYST- Broomfield, COResponsible for conducting or assisting in the documentation of simple to moderate accounting and/or financial analysis projects. Performs general accounting duties requiring the application of standard policies, procedures, and practices in the preparation of basic financial statements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ? Processes, summarizes and reports financial transactions utilizing personal computer skills.? Prepares and reviews data for inclusion in financial reports, statements and summaries.? Participates in budget and forecast preparation and roll up. (This includes specific modeling or forecasting, time-series analysis, and graphic presentation of operating and financial data.)? Reviews financial data for accuracy, identifies problems, and supports day-to-day operations.? Participates in the preparation and compilation of the annual financial plan. REQUIREMENTS ? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business; or any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. ? A minimum of two (2) years of related experience. ? A conceptual understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and inter-relationship of the elements of financial forecasting, costing and reporting, and financial modeling skills using personal computers is required. ? Experience with financial reporting or general ledger software preferred.? Good financial modeling skillsCOMPETENCIES? Knowledgeable in use of computer and data base skills? Good analytical skills? 10-key by touch? Good communication skills, both verbal and written ? Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills?
