Financial Control Analyst

Position Overview

The financial analyst will perform control reviews across the Finance Department.  He/She will be responsible for planning and performing reviews of control design and testing of operating effectiveness of controls. The candidate should be able to identify, assess, and evaluate issues and recommend corrective actions if necessary. These reviews require a combination of project management skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication/presentation skills.

Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Accounting1-5 years professional experienceExperience in Public Accounting or Internal Audit, preferably within the Financial Services industryCPA or CPA candidate preferredKnowledge of SAS70, COSO, or PCAOB standards preferred, but not requiredExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to interact with all levels of managementAbility to prioritize and multi-taskExcellent project management, organization, analytical, risk management and problem solving skillsStrong academic record and interest in continuously learningProficient in MS Word, Excel and Visio
