Fire Field Service Technician

Job DescriptionPerform routine and emergency service using the guidelines and procedures established by the equipment manufacturer. Insure all reports, parts tickets, and related documents, both routine and emergency, are completed entirely with the required information. Insure all reports and related documents are forwarded for processing at least once a week and no later than the end of the month for services completed with the customer. Responsible for working with the Operations Manager in scheduling service calls and insuring changes and delays are handled accordingly with customer Responsible for accurate completion of time distribution forms and expense reports on a weekly basis. Responsible for attending and participating in weekly meetings and training sessions as required.  Responsible for insuring that the assigned service vehicle is properly maintained including regular scheduled maintenance, cleaning, inventory organization and control. Responsible for proper care and use of test equipment and tools that are assigned by the company including recharge equipment, scanners, test meters, etc. Responsible for communicating to Operations Manager and Sales Account Manager prospective customers and/or leads which could result in increased business and revenue.  Responsible for personal involvement in improving quality of the protection systems division by obtaining required licenses and certifications that are required by equipment manufacturers, Federal, State and Local jurisdictions. Responsible for conforming to the companies quality system. May be required to oversee other personnel in the coordination of field activities.
