II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for selling corporate products via subscription to accounts in the financial services segments and renewing these accounts at the expiration of the subscription by performing the following duties. · Drive the established Small Business Marketing sales goals and target· Ensure a robust and accurate pipeline is maintained with a 3 - 6 month view of key opportunities· Serve as the First Research product expert for the Hoover’s Channel by: -Leading client engagements including needs assessment, product demonstrations, competitive pitches, etc.· Travel to call on regular and prospective customers to facilitate ongoing business relationships with key executives· Travels to and attends trade shows on behalf of the company· Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals· Track and report First Research sales on a monthly basis to your leader (Leader, Middle Market and Small Business Channel Sales) and D&B Sales Leaders in your regionIII. KEY REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS:* Strong sales background with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets * Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across functions and levels * Strong thought leadership, including the ability to define and implement process and policy that drives business results SKILL-BASED COMPETENCIES:* Excellent organization, planning, interpersonal, and communications skills including ability to present to small & large groups * Strong results orientation, able to achieve high growth objectives and retain complex customers* Innate customer focus, with the ability to engage large organizations (200+ employees) and deliver a compelling value proposition* Strategic and analytical thinking as required in long sales cycles and large account management TECHNICAL SKILLS:* Strong sales/account management skills, with experience handling $100,000+ accounts/customers * Working knowledge of: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Live Meeting and general Web technologies * Excellent organization, planning, interpersonal, and communications skills including ability to present to small & large groups At D&B we value the diversity of perspectives that result from a variety of life experiences: ethnicities, ages, sexual orientations, genders, and other factors.
