Franchise Sales Manager - Inside Sales
Franchise Sales Manager
Cruise Planners, an American Express Travel Services Representative, is the largest at-home travel agent network in the cruise industry, with more than 700 franchises in 42 states. Our Corporate Office is seeking a qualified Sales Professional to participate in the expansion of our Franchise Program. Ideal candidate must be a highly motivated Sales Professional with proven sales and closing success to sell the # 1 ranked Home-Based Cruise Travel Franchise. This is a unique career opportunity to join an industry leader with unlimited growth potential.
This individual will follow the sales process, taking the lead from initial inquiry to close. Must have excellent telecommunication skills, be able to make phone and virtual presentations, and possess strong closing skills. All leads are provided – no cold calling. Travel or related field experience preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum 5+ years of proven sales success. Please distinguish sales success from sales experience
· Proven skills in strategic and tactical sales and business development
· Verifiable track record in Franchise or Intangible Sales, or equivalent Sales success
· Strong closing/contract negotiation skills
· Ability to create value and interest within 30 seconds
· Outstanding oral, written communication and presentation skills
· Highly motivated and results driven
· Ability to communicate the company’s vision and value in a clear, concise, and compelling manor
· Knowledge of franchising disclosure and sales legality preferred
· College degree preferred
PRIORITIES
· Outbound Sales calls
· Manage verbal and virtual/online presentations
· Close sales
· Maintain and provide a forecast/pipeline and activity report
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Initiate contact with qualified franchise prospects
· Monitor prospect’s receipt and review of Franchise Agreement
· Close the sale by addressing prospect’s concerns, demonstrating empathy and consistently moving the prospect towards commitment
· Monitor prospect’s execution of the Franchise Agreement and payment of initial franchise fee, along with completion of Franchise Paperwork
· Attend trade shows and participate in occasional Industry-related events
KEY SKILLS
· Polished and professional presentation skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
· Goal Oriented
· Thorough understanding of the regulatory sales process
