Front Desk Office Assistant

ProTelecom, a Maryland based 8(a) Audiovisual, Videoconferencing and Data Network Systems Engineering and Integrations Company, is seeking a bright, sharp person with a ‘spark’ & a professional image for this vital administrative support position. To be considered, 2+ years of office/secretarial experience is required, along with advanced proficiency in MS Word & Excel. Exceptional organizational skills are necessary, along with the demonstrated ability to prioritize.

Qualified candidates will possess excellent communication (including telephone etiquette), interpersonal & customer service skills, the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, be able to effectively multi-task and have a strong attention to detail.  In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to focus on a balance between quality and productivity and have the ability to accept change quickly and easily in an ever changing environment. 
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):Organization and management of daily/weekly schedule Directing Visitors Serving as division’s first point of contact for visitors and general phone calls Fielding telephone callsmaintaining division phone listsCreating company memos Managing the division’s supply room – inventory and ordering Record retention/filing Pick up, sorting and distribution of mail General office management Special projects & assignments as needed

 

Additional requirements include:

 

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word & Excel) Excellent written & oral communication skills Must display a professional, poised demeanor Must be an energetic, optimistic, team player
