GIS DEVELOPER

Concurrent Technologies Corporation is seeking a GIS developer in Huntsville, Alabama. Position will be responsible for assisting in the development, creation and maintenance of a variety of client-focused GIS Applications and/or GIS/GIS-enabled databases ranging in type and scope. This position will support development of applications for our clients in a wide range of domains that require GIS solutions.  This position will require knowledge of geospatial science software applications & ESRI's ArcGIS products. Duties include: GIS software & DB design & development, system testing, geospatial science.  This position requires interacting with customers, and working in a team-based environment.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelors degree (Computer Science or GIS preferred) and at least 2 years experience with GIS software application and/or GIS database development.  Requires education in and/or experience with ESRI's ArcGIS software/technologies. Responsibilities include management of assigned projects/tasks within specified budgets and schedules, and providing data analysis, geographic/cartographic mapping, 3D visual analysis, RDBMS development and/or GIS application programming services. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance is required.
