General Manager

Home Instead Senior Care is the world's largest provider of non-medical home care and companionship services for seniors, with more than 750 independently owned and operated franchises in 12 countries.

Our Denver franchise is looking for a forward thinking, enthusiastic individual with the ability to expand and develop a dedicated team.  The General Manager will provide leadership, direction and on-going administration of Home Instead Senior Care services and ensure policies and procedures are implemented for efficient and effective management of all programs.  The GM position will have responsibility for all aspects of client care, recruitment and retention, marketing, financial and operational  performance and is accountable to communicate and implement corporate and strategic initiatives to meet company goals and objectives. 

Qualifications:  Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 8 years management or related experience required with a demonstrated record of progressive, professional leadership responsibility.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Superior communication, managerial, planning, organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills required. Skilled at defining both long and short term goals with demonstrated success in achieving them.Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff, peers and leadership. Accomplished at building effective teams, and skilled at seeking out and managing new and existing business resources. Demonstrated ability to build consensus and respond to the needs of both internal and external customers.
