For more information visit our website at www.walgreensspecialtyrx.comBasic FunctionUnder limited supervision, performs routine duties following established procedures in the following areas: payroll & benefits, recruiting, training, compensation, records maintenance, policy and procedures, compliance, training and office administration. Other responsibilites will include, but are not limited to:· Coordinate communications with parties as needed to facilitate day to day business. Includes responding to/routing email inquiries, screening department phone calls, managing the HR employment line and voicemail, preparing various communication pieces and representing HR department at various meetings/events.· Processes bi-weekly and monthly salaried payroll by downloading and verifying Time Trak entries and recording salaried exemptions and submitting to Walgreens payroll according to processing deadlines. Verifies all payroll information, manages issue resolution with Walgreens, distributes paychecks and responds within 24 hours of payroll inquiries.· Assists with administration and communication of Walgreens benefit plans for facility personnel. This includes enrollment tracking, processing and terminations. · Assists with recruiting process by managing candidate screening/tracking, coordinating interviews, managing resumes, conducting phone screens, and preparing related correspondence. · Coordinates New Hire Orientation Manages recordkeeping, coordinates scheduling, preparing materials, coordinating benefit in-services, tracks orientation checklists and follow up with new hires. · Assists with training by coordinating HR Inservice programs, assisting with room set-up, ordering supplies, preparing rosters, preparing power point presentations/materials etc. · Assists with the administration of various human resources programs, policies & procedures; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains related communication (acknowledgements etc.) · Provides administrative support to human resources function (e.g. mail distribution, correspondence generation, record keeping, file maintenance). Maintain employee personnel files to ensure compliance with company policy and regulatory offices.· Maintains updated and accurate department calendar as well as schedules appointments and meetings as requested. Prepare and confirm travel and accommodation arrangements and resolve related issues.· Maintain department petty cash fund including proper documentation and monthly balancing.Requirements:· A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations or similar field · 1-3 years experience in HR role or related experience· PHR certification preferred· Experience with payroll processing and/or administering company health and welfare plans required.· Strong pc skills including Word and Excel Company: Walgreens Location: Pittsburgh, PA Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Human Resources Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Company: Walgreens Reference Code: HR Coordinator
