HR Generalist

Exciting Organization is seeking a HR Gerneralist to support operations in the Uptown Dallas area.

Primary Respoisibilities:

* Assist in administration of compensation program; helps to monitor preformance appraisal process

* Responsible for the recruitment and placement functions, will oversee recruiting, interviewing, selection, and hiring efforts.

* Responsible for advertising, posting job openings on the web site, employment agency use, and compliance wie EEP guidelines and goals

* Pre-screen candidates for basic skills and perform background checks

* Generate all reference checks: type all offer and declination letters; perform posthire follow-up

* Coordinate and track employee referral awards and employee tenure progran management training

* Manage College Relation Program; recruit graduates for interships anf management training

* Organize College Career Fairs

* Assist in the organizing and planning of the Summer Internship Program

* Conduct New employe orientations including new hire paperwork

* Coordinate company wellness program including lunch-n-learn programs and newsletters

* Assist Benefits manager with bebefits and 401K plan administration

* Maintainh computerized application tracking system

Qulifications:

Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and function in a fast paced, deadline driven enviorment

* Must possess strong relationship building skills and a high level of judgment and discretion in order to effectively recruit applicants and communicate with both employees and supervisors regarding sensitive and confidential issues

*A competent knowledge of benefits administration and payroll is beneficial

* Proven recruiting capabilities

* Bachelor's degree in HR preferred / 5 yrs min
