HR Manager
The role of HR Manager incorporates a broad generalist background in human resource management skills and an expertise in strategic client partnership, including employee relations, performance management, workforce development, conflict resolution, consensus building, organizational design and restructuring, budgeting, compensation, benefits and recruitment. The Manager must have solid technical skills in employee relations and experience with change management. The Sr. Manager is charged with balancing strategic vision with practical day-to-day HR service delivery. The individual will design, develop, and implement effective human resources strategies and programs to ensure Kaiser Permanentes overall business goals of accountability, professionalism, and securing a competitive position in the healthcare industry. Major responsibilities include:1. Organizational development - Partner with strategic level senior leaders to understand business imperatives and strategies, developing solutions that have significant impact on the HR organizations and its clients, addressing highly complex issues and working with challenging and highly demanding priorities. The ability to analyze data and understand the financial impact of HR policies as they relate to the Business organizations is critical.2. Client engagement - Responsible for ownership of HR programs for a full range of client groups.3. Employee relations - Engage with senior level management to investigate and resolve strategic, complex employee relations issues. 4. Talent Development - Develop competencies for job families, and linking competency to skill-building alternatives. Work with your clients to implement the appropriate method to develop talent to the next level.5. Staffing - Partner with Talent Acquisition to diagnose recruiting challenges and to develop solution to ensure the delivery of a high quality candidate pool. 6. Compensation - Partner with functional specialists to provide compensation management and influence compensation decisions, including executive compensation.7. Training and development - Responsible for identifying and influencing training needs. Provide HR program training of line management and other HR professionals.
