The HRO Project Manager manages large, complex Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO) implementation projects, from sales turnover through successful transition to the ongoing service delivery team.
Duties Include: Directing and coaching a diverse virtual team of 20+ professionals delivering all aspects of an integrated Payroll, HR, and Benefits outsourced solution. Overall responsibility for the project, including delivering the defined solution on time, on budget, with a client. Act as an ambassador for HRO Implementation within Ceridian, building relationships and processes that streamline and continuously improve the delivery of an integrated HRO solution.
Travel Required up to 50% if based in Minneapolis MN or Raleigh NC; 60-80% for, St. Louis MO, Atlanta GA or Louisville KY; Valid Driver's License required.
Qualifications:
The Project Manager position requires a strong leader, with sound business knowledge and judgment, supported by strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills. The successful candidate will draw on a variety of prior experience, including direct client engagement, related functional experience in Payroll, HR, and/or benefits, technical and subject matter knowledge, and large, complex project management experience, in order to lead their team to success.5+ years large project management experience. Preferred experience includes clients with more than 3000 employees in multiple locations, large project teams from varied functional areas, integration of new technology, business process re-engineering, and end-to-end solution testing. Financial management of multi-million dollar engagements required.Demonstrated ability to lead others to execute on complex business strategies, driving measurable results. Ability to define and execute new solutions.Demonstrated ability to build rapport with, influence and problem solve with various levels of client employees and internal partners. 3+ years client facing experience in complex industries. Multiple industries preferred.Demonstrated ability to successfully facilitate root-cause analysis on complex issues. Proven ability to drive solutions to complex problems and to build standards for future use.Ability to provide feedback and coaching that results in identifiable change, team learning, and individual growth.Demonstrated knowledge in multiple core subject areas required. Direct functional experience with Payroll, HR, and/or Benefits administration highly desirable. Experience with multiple companies' payroll, HR, and benefit programs preferred.Ability to define, re-engineer, and continuously improve business processes. Experience with multi-function six sigma projects highly desirable. Formal Six Sigma training and certification preferred.Strong, polished verbal and written communication skills. Able to collaborate, negotiate and persuade, while maintaining positive relationships with employees, peers, internal partners, clients, and third party partners.Practical knowledge of Ceridian systems, production environment, and implementation practices desirable.
