HRIS Assistant Summary

Our client is seeking to hire an HRIS Assistant on a full-time basis. This progressive firm is seeking a self-motivated leader who is comfortable taking initiative with urgent projects to quickly produce results. The ideal candidate will have solid communications skills and a thorough understanding of HR Information Systems.

In this full-time HRIS Assistant role your duties will include, but are not limited to:Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of new employee information and employee status changes, maintaining HRIS. Preparing statistical summaries and special reports from all HR applications. Establishing and maintaining personnel files and reporting data on a regular basis. Assisting in consulting with other departments to determine their goals and objectives for HR systems/data and then providing recommendations for achieving those goals.Assisting with special projects as needed.

 


Essential HRIS Assistant Skills & CharacteristicsBachelor’s degree in Business (emphasis in HR or related field preferred) 1-2 years HRIS administration experience Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel and Access) is required Previous experience in HRIS, HRizon and/or Reportsmith preferred Must be able to accurately key information into database Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and orally, with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds Individual must pay exceptional attention to detail and must be a proven problem solver
